surprise!

I was planning on going to visit my girlfriend in Chicago this weekend. I was going to show up at her door with flowers a new dress and plans for a romantic weekend.
Suprise!
I talked to her on Wednesday and she let me know that her ex-boyfriend had called up earlier that day. Over the past two years we've all been involved in sick sort of love triangle, but for the last 5 months me and my girl have been doing okay, even seriously talking about marriage. Her ex told her he was getting on a plane and coming to visit this weekend too.
Suprise!
She assured me when we spoke on Wednesday that this was a chance to finally end things with the ex for good. I didn't quite believe her. We talked again last night - her and the ex are getting married.

That sucks man. I had myself one of those triangles once...........once. Nearly the same thing happened. The only difference is they ended up divorved, she tried to get me back and I got the satisfaction of telling her to go screw herself. Ahhhhhhhhhh revenge.
