And it can also be used to loosen those pesky lag bolts....

It's rare when I feel the need to engage in a product review, but I thought it was time to save some of my adoring public from making a horrible mistake.

Before my youngest stepson Eric left for Ann Arbor, MI last weekend, he came home from Blockbuster with a couple cans of C2, Coca Cola's latest attempt to be all things to all people. Since he left them behind, I figured that I owed it to my boundless curiosity to try C2 for myself. After all, the two or three people who might actually read this might just be interested in what I have to say.

The verdict: without a doubt, y'all, C2 is virtually undrinkable. Granted, I'm a Diet Coke fan, and regular Coke is merely OK, so I'm not exactly an unbiased judged. Still, C2 IS HORRIBLE. Period. End of Story. Without a doubt. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Yuck....

I couldn't even finish an entire 12-ounce can. I ended up pouring it down the drain in the kitchen sink, and damned if it didn't unclog the previously uncooperative drain. Now I'm wondering if I can use it to remove the chrome on my truck's trailer hitch. This opens up all sorts of possibilities, though probably NOT the possibilities Coca-Cola had in mind.

Actually, if you had decided to use it on your trucks tires it would've probably made them look brand new. I say this because my best friend uses coca cola to clean his tires and he swears that is his secret to keeping them looking new.

I also agree with your assessment of the C2. I tried it the other day and it is just awful. I prefer the taste of regular coke over diet coke, so now people have opinions from both sides of the fence, so to speak.

I am so glad I'm not the only one that thinks this junk tastes like piss in a can. I'm not a big soda drinker but my curiousity got the best of me too and I tried it. One word....... NASTY!! Anyone remember the last time, I think it was in the 80s, Coke changed their formula? This crap tastes worse than that. Awful.

Oh my god! Are you guys serious? I thought it tasted exactly like regular coke! I wonder if this is because, being the totally media-ignorant person I am, I didn't know that the product had changed ingredients & thought coke had just changed their label?? I didn't learn until after I'd drank it...

I'm boycotting Coke because they've changed from 2 liter to 1.5 liter bottles without lowering the price. Plus, really, Coke, and Pepsi taste pretty much the same. Vanilla Coke/Pepsi, now that is where its at. I'm addicted to the stuff, and have even sunk to adding vanilla when I've gotten the plain stuff.

Nice to see you again Jack.

Yes, my long journey through the wilderness is finally over. I promise not to be a stranger...or any stranger than currently manifested.... ;0)

MG- y'know, there just might be a 12-step program for that sort of thing....

Did someone say coke and pepsi were pretty much the same? No way, they are worlds apart. Coke is more fizzy and pepsi is way sweeter. But if you mix them 1/3 soda and 2/3 rum it really doesn't matter.

"I ended up pouring it down the drain in the kitchen sink ..."

Where all soda needs to go.

yep, soda is sooooooo bad for you--but I'm addicted to diet vanilla pepsi, I kinda go nuts without it. Actually I'm nuts anyway. But I get cranky without it.

Yea, Coke and Pepsi are two totally different tastes. The funny thing is that I NEVER drink sodas, not even with food. I drink water with every meal. Not very exciting but I have become addicted to it. Really the only time I drink any soda is Sprite with my vodka. Mmmmm Mmmmm good.
