It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad March

by mg at 03:39 PM on March 19, 2003

Going against my self-imposed policy of only posting when I've got something purposful to say, I'm going to post this up since, well, no reason really. I can't imagine talking about anything but the war right now. Maybe someone else will come up with something fun to say, but I can't. I just want this war to get started so it can be over already.

Still, I wanted to mention that, in a show of support for our President, I'm picking the Unviersity of Texas to go all the way in the NCAA Tourney.

While I would much rather see an ACC team win it all; I am picking Kentucky in my office pool. Undefeated in the SEC. Hard to pick against that.

I think this impending war has dampened everyone's humor. You're not alone MG. I may have some happenings going on this weekend though. It'll either turn out humorous, dirty sexy or tragic. Either way it should make for some interesting reading.

I like how Manhattan subway terminals now look Tel Avi-ish with the A2 new age M-16 toting(clip loaded) soldiers in full camo. Is it like that in D.C. Anna? Just had to say, Judy Woodruff(Woof-Woof) is the sexiest 8million year old woman on T.V. right now. I like the wrinkles in her neck, love 'em. So MG, does this mean that this POST is a free for all random walk? Anne Kornblut of the Boston Globe is so very cuddly and has that perfect 'masturbation' quality to her look, because she's not "MODEL" hot, so there's some SELF-DEBASING quality about jerking off to her, which makes the Climax more readily achieved.

I have a problem. Since mother nature decided to crap five feet on snow on Denver, my ski trip is cancelled. I now have four days of nothing to do and it's supposed to rain all four days. Going back to work is not an option.

Anyone have some ideas on what my brother and I could do since we can't ski? WE ARE BORD!

Mg, Ezy... I haven't even had the heart to post about the sweet love I got Tuesday night. How bad is that?

I was just looking at CNN.com and started crying and now the mascara I wore to look like an "adult" for a meeting is making me look "crazy" instead.

Linz: Why are you upset? This is not a war. By the Iraqi's own admission, only one person died in last night's strikes. The U.S. is not attacking the people of Iraq, rather it's leaders, something that the anti-war movement has asked for continuously. You guys are getting what you want. I couldn't be happier that this is the way America is going about things. There is still hope that these kinds of attacks might convince Iraqi leadership to give up, or be removed from power via cruise missiles, without any death to innocent civilians.

I don't watch basketball (we are talking about basketball, right?) but I am a Longhorn Alumn, so I can get behind you on this one MG. Hookem'

I'm sad because I am doubtful that this is going to be that simple. But yes! Yes! I hope! I hope! I'm sending generic prayers out, hoping some god or another will hear what I'm saying. Oh, and it's about to turn 11:11... so I'll kiss the clock & wish on that too. Don't think I don't have hope. I always do.

Just a random idea: Can we occasionally pick a LINE from a SONG, since most if not all posts are titled with them, and have ANNA or ANYONE who has a Seat on the BSBOT who is fresh out of IDEAS try to make a post from the song tag(this is the worst written request, feels like I just learned English) anyways, if you feel you have nothing to write about I'd like a post which is titled "Child was Born, with a heart of Gold, but the Way of the World, make him Cold" courtesty of Earth Wind and Fire... it seems fitting at these um, OOOHHH so EXCITING...oohhhh like I care, it's just a Sad time, but I have to wear a crutch in my head to smile for a prolonged two seconds, soo oOOHHH, um, I got Age of Mythology, it's so DORKY GOOD! GET IT! ONLINE CONQUEST!

I like the idea, except it's hard to post when trying to make yourself be creative.

by Linz at March 20, 2003 5:02 PM

Linz, you're not alone. I haven't been in the mood to be creative for the last couple of days either, if I ever truely was. Creative that is. Hmmmm. Questions. Questions. It's tough to be humorous when some deadly serious shit is going on, I know that much.

Hot Lava Linz. Sweet lovin' on a tuesday night? Grrrrrrrrrl. Get your freak on. I, actually, have scheduled sweet lovin' next weekend. Old flame blowing in. I love spontaneity but there is just something about a scheduled romp. I think it gives you time to plan your nastiness.

by lockheed at March 20, 2003 6:23 PM

Lockheed, you are a one-man theater of the absurd. In a good way. For now. You'll probably revert to evil later, I know.
